Teamwork
I enjoy collaborating, communicating clearly and turning technical constraints into something designers, artists and other programmers can work with.
ABOUT ME
I’m Lorenzo, a Game & Gameplay Programmer focused on gameplay systems, multiplayer architecture and AI. I work mainly with Unity / C# and Unreal Engine / C++, and I enjoy turning gameplay ideas into systems that are responsive, reusable and easy to maintain.

Main obsession: gameplay that feels right
HOW IT STARTED
My journey into game development started in 2022, when I enrolled in the Game Programming course at Event Horizon School in Milan.
C# and C++ initially forced me to rethink how I approached problems. That challenge is exactly what pulled me in. I became interested not only in making features work, but in understanding how to structure them so they remain understandable when a project grows.
Today my strongest interests are gameplay architecture, multiplayer networking and AI. I enjoy working from the architecture of a system through implementation, debugging, iteration and final integration.
HOW I WORK
The part of programming I enjoy most is finding the simplest structure that still gives the team room to move fast.
I enjoy collaborating, communicating clearly and turning technical constraints into something designers, artists and other programmers can work with.
I like understanding why a system works, not just getting it to compile. New tools, networking problems and unfamiliar systems are usually the fun part for me.
I care about finishing what I start: build it, test it, debug it, document it and leave the system in a state another developer can understand.
BEYOND CODE
Outside game development, I love travelling, discovering different cultures and, very importantly, trying the food that comes with them. Those experiences keep me curious and give me a healthy break from staring at systems and logs all day.
I’m proactive, social and comfortable working with a team, but I’m equally happy disappearing into a difficult technical problem until I understand it properly.
BACK TO THE WORK
The projects are the best place to see how I approach gameplay, networking and technical systems.
